As Flying Tumbler Irish Whiskey continues our growth and expansion in the USA, we are seeking applications from for a number of sales executive roles in:
- Massachusetts (based in Boston)
- South Carolina (based in Charleston, SC)
- Maryland (based in Washington DC)
- Georgia (based in Atlanta, GA)
Successful candidates will ideally: have a commerce and marketing undergraduate; build-relationships easily; are sociable; and have a natural drive for selling.
Who you are and what you’ll, ideally, have:
A sales and marketing graduate, with...
- Direct field sales experience with some marketing exposure;
- An understanding of, or a willingness to learn quickly, the Drinks trade and Retail;
- Strong communication skills and likability factor;
- An Irish affinity and strong connection to Irish culture;
- The ability, energy and drive, to travel within allocated territory;
- An appropriate working Visa (mandatory)'
- A full clean driving license (mandatory)
What the role looks like:
- Building a full understanding of Flying Tumbler’s brand story and the Irish Whiskey category;
- Telling that story to our consumers, retailers and wholesalers by hand selling our product;
- Relationship building with our Wholesaler partners field sales teams, attending their in office sales meetings and continuously up-skilling their knowledge of Flying Tumbler;
- Relationship building with existing Off Premise (Retail) and On Premise accounts, and prospecting new business, through in-person visits, phone calls and email;
- In the Off Premise: Hand selling Irish Whiskey to consumers at in-store tastings, influencing store staff, executing Point of Sale programs;
- In the On Premise: Developing relationships with Venue staff, negotiating and organising in venue events and executing marketing programs;
- Leveraging our CRM system to schedule account visits, track calls, manage price lists and track your (Wholesaler’s case sales);
- Communicating to Flying Tumbler HQ on a regular basis: progress to KPIs

Org Structure
- Sales Executive working directly with Head of Sales
- USD $22 per hour (circa USD $43k per annum)
- Bonus structure based on achieved KPIs
- 38 hours per week with typical work pattern as below (this can be flexed to suit needs)
Holidays
20 days paid holidays over the course of this employment. Days are to be agreed in advance between
employer and employee. Mandatory holidays are:
