About Flying Tumbler
Flying Tumbler Whiskey is an independent Irish whiskey bottler from Co Carlow. We custom source whiskey spirit to our specification and then mature, blend and bottle everything ourselves in bond at Carlow Brewing Company. Flying Tumbler is distributed by Radical Drinks. Distribution queries to patrick@flyingtumbler.com. All bottlings can be purchased at most specialist whiskey off trade retailers.

New Bottlings
Having spent the past number of months preparing for our next bottling run, we are delighted to present to the market our latest bottlings which we blended and bottled at Carlow Brewing Co in the past month. Please say hello to the Tippler, Roller and Bird.

The Tippler - The Tippler is a 12 year old single cask blend of grain and malt whiskies from two separate Irish distilleries. Initially aged independently in bourbon casks and then blended into an oloroso sherry seasoned ex Californian 225L oak cask for over 12 months before being disgorged, filtered and cut to drinking ABV by Flying Tumbler at Carlow Brewing Company.

Tasting Notes - Beautiful malty cereal notes at the front, like Weetabix splashed with warm milk. On the palate, the fruitiness really shines through, with layers of both summer berries and dessert flavours, like a delicious trifle, with layers of cream, custard and red berries. Biscuity and syrupy at the finish.

The Roller - The Roller is a single grain Irish Whiskey aged exclusively in 1st fill ex bourbon casks for at least 5 years. Non chill filtered and matured, cut to drinking ABV and bottled by Flying Tumbler at Carlow Brewing Company.

Tasting Notes - Initial custard with a depth of flavor on the nose. Great texture and sweetness with a soft finish.

The Bird - The Bird is a blend of triple distilled grain and malt whiskies married together in oloroso sherry oak casks for over 12 months and then blended with triple distilled single grain and single malt whiskies matured in ex bourbon oak casks. Non Chill Filtered and matured, bottled and blended exclusively by Flying Tumbler at Carlow Brewing Company.

Tasting Notes - Butterscotch, lychee, toffee, stewed apple, cinnamon. Red fruit mid palate. Dry nutty finish. Hint of sweet clove. Citrus and orange peel.
